Job Description	KHPT invites applications for the following positions for its new project, ‘Technical assistance to improve maternal, neonatal and child health outcomes through the National Rural Health Mission in Karnataka, India’ 1. Deputy Project Director: 1 position, Bangalore MD in Community Medicine or equivalent post graduate degree in public health with 5-8 years of relevant experience in project management at senior level and experience at strategic role. The Deputy Project Director will assist and contribute to the design of project activities and provide strategic leadership for project implementation. This includes coordination of activities with NRHM /Govt of Karnataka. The position requires considerable travel within the state. The candidate should have excellent negotiation, communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills in order to be able to manage project and relationships with diverse programme partners. Knowledge of computer application is a must and knowledge of local language is preferred. 2. Sr. Manager – M &E: 1 position, Bangalore Ph.D/M.Sc in Demography /Statistics with 4-5 years of experience in strategic planning, assessments and operational research. Sr. M&E Manager will be responsible for designing & providing implementation support for the various assessments such as facility mapping and the KAP surveys. S/he will be responsible for strategic analysis of primary and secondary data to develop understanding of the gaps in availability, accessibility, quality, utilization and coverage of critical Maternal, neonatal and child health (MNCH) services and provide technical inputs to the improved data systems within the NRHM. Knowledge of research tools & techniques and SPSS /STATA, MS -office is a must. 3. Sr. Officer – M &E: 1 position, Bangalore M.Sc in Demography /Statistics or equivalent degree with 2-3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation of programs. Sr. M&E Officer will be responsible for analysis of data and share the finding with stakeholders. Should have knowledge of SPSS /STATA, MS office. 4. Technical Officer - Medical: 1 position, Bangalore MBBS with MPH /MBBS with diploma in public health or any equivalent degree and 3-4 years of relevant experience in a development sector. Technical Officer – Medical will provide support to development of documents, manuals and guidelines for the specific MNCH intervention and support district level team. Knowledge of computer application is a must. 5. Technical Officer – Programme: 1 position, Bangalore Post graduate in social science or management or any equivalent degree with 3-4 years of experience. Technical Officer – Programme will provide support in the development of documents, manuals and guidelines for the community health workers and provide support to district level team. Position involves travel. Knowledge of MS Office is required. 6. Finance Officer: 1 position, Bangalore Master degree /degree in commerce with 3-4 years relevant development sector experience. Finance Officer will be responsible to deal with cash handling procedures, maintain computerized cash book /ledger & other subsidiary registers, process the payroll & other travel related payments, maintenance of accounts records, procurement and admin activities. He would be also responsible for preparing financial reports, SOEs, liaising with banks for all finance related issues. The candidate should be good in Excel and accounting packages like Tally. 7. Admin Assistant: 1 position, Bangalore Graduate in any discipline and non graduates with adequate experience working in administrative field. Admin Assistant will be responsible to carry out functional responsibilities as per direction of immediate supervisor relating to travel, logistics, and house keeping. Also responsible for management of store & stationery and maintenance of records related to travel, vehicle, procurement, filing system etc., Must know MS-Office and possess good communication skills. Above positions demand excellent communication /computer skills and involves travel. Preferences will be given to candidates who know the local language and have work experience with Govt/ NGOs / Development sectors.
